Notes for Granville Watts

Civil War Veteran. Found record of a Granville Watts that enlisted, 17 Oct 1861 at Lee Co., VA at the rank of Private in to Company C, VA 21st Inf Battn, CSA, transferred to 64th VA Infantry, CSA, Company C, 1 Dec 1862 . This soldier died of lung inflammation while held as a POW at Camp Douglas, IL. Taken prisoner Sep 1863 at Cumberland Gap, TN, confined at Camp Douglas, 24 Sep 1863.
